During his sophomore year as the starter for the Crimson Tide, Milroe has passed for 2,844 yards along with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, maintaining a completion rate of 64.5%. Additionally, he leads the team in rushing with 726 yards and 20 touchdowns based on 168 carries.
During his time at Alabama across four seasons, Milroe played in 38 games and started in 26 of them. In those appearances, he threw for 6,016 yards with 45 touchdown passes against 20 interceptions, maintaining a completion rate of 64%. As a versatile runner, Milroe added another dimension as a rusher, accumulating 1,579 yards and scoring 33 touchdowns from 375 carries. Notably, Milroe set the school record for the highest number of rushing touchdowns by a Crimson Tide quarterback in one season (20), surpassing Jalen Hurts’ previous high of 13 established back in 2016.

Ranked as the country’s eighty-ninth best player and twelfth top-rated quarterback in his cohort, he had previously been committed to Texas. In the end, though, Milroe opted for Alabama instead of the Longhorns, Texas A&M, Arizona, Florida, and Oregon.
