Report: Layoffs on the horizon at Intel

HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) – Layoffs and cutbacks are reportedly on the horizon for one of Oregon’s largest companies.

According to
Bloomberg news
, Intel is expected to show plans to cut more than 20 percent of its workforce.

According to the plan, the layoffs are part of a broader strategy to refocus on engineering culture.
