PHILADELPHIA − The
Eagles
executed two trades using their initial third-round selection, thereby skipping the entire round altogether.
As a result, the Eagles acquired additional selections in both the 2025 and 2026 draft rounds.
The initial agreement was with the
Atlanta Falcons
, as the Eagles dropped five positions from No. 96 to No. 101, securing an additional fifth-round pick in 2026. Subsequently, the Eagles made a trade with the
Denver Broncos
, relinquishing No. 101 and their fourth-round selection at No. 134.
As compensation, the Eagles received two fourth-round selections — number 111 and number 130 — along with a sixth-round choice at position 191.
This means the Eagles have eight draft picks for this year and potentially up to twelve next year. They will enter rounds four through seven on April 26th equipped with two fourth-round selections, three fifth-round choices, and one sixth-round pick.
“As we approached our selection, we had a few chances that we believed helped us make the most out of where we stood on our draft board,” stated Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman. “Additionally, securing an extra pick for next year means we will have around 12 or 13 selections then, with many falling within the first five rounds.”
I definitely find that thrilling.
Previously, the Eagles chose Andrew Mukuba, a defensive back from Texas, with their second-round selection, which was the 64th pick overall. Earlier, on April 24, they had picked Jihaad Campbell, an Alabama linebacker, as their first-round choice, at the 31st spot overall.
Both players give the Eagles versatility in the defense, a quality that defensive coordinator Vic Fangio looks for.

However, the Eagles still have several solid options for defensive tackles remaining in Round 4.
Florida State
Joshua Farmer from ‘s and J.J. Pegues from Mississippi are listed. Additionally, at tight end position, Mitchell Evans from Notre Dame and Gunnar Helm from Texas are accessible as we move into Day 3.
And, naturally, the Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is at hand.
