Philadelphia Phillies outfielder
Brandon Marsh
(hamstring) ran the bases today and feels back to 100 percent. He’ll have a rest day tomorrow and will likely begin a rehab assignment on Thursday, according to Rob Thomson. This is a quick turnaround for the 27-year-old, as he was only officially placed on the 10-day injured list two days ago. It was retroactive to April 17, meaning he would be eligible to return this weekend if his rehab goes well. Hopefully this extended break will help him snap out of his early-season slump, as he’s batting just .095 so far through 17 games.
