West Perry baseball scores 7 in the bottom of the 7th, walk it off over James Buchanan in comeback victory

West Perry was down 13-6 heading into the bottom of the 7th inning, but were able to find their drive, scoring 7 runs to tie the game and send the contest to extras, where they ultimately prevailed 14-13.

Timely hitting and costly errors were the difference in that 7th inning, with Tanner Ziegler leading the charge, driving in 2 with a single, ultimately finishing with 3 total RBI.

Braedon McKeever finished with a nice line as well, going 1-for-4 with a 3-run double.

Eli Lyons, Austin Lyons, and Jordy Ogden all drove in a run apiece.

Mason Sanno earned the win in relief, pitching the 8th inning scoreless and punching out 1.

Carter Hissong did all he could for the Rockets, finishing 3-for-5 with 5 total RBI.

West Perry improves to 10-4 with the win, as James Buchanan falls to 8-5.
