Pinpoint Weather Forecast: April 23, 2025

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Cooler changes are coming to Kern County in the next few days.

The first of several weather disturbances will be passing through, bringing cooler temperatures and a higher chance of rain in our area.

Breezy conditions will also affect the Mojave slopes and surrounding areas. Bakersfield may see up to 0.10 inches of rain by Saturday, while parts of the Kern River Valley could receive over a quarter of an inch from the next low-pressure system.

Despite temperatures dropping 10° below normal by Saturday, we can look forward to a warm-up back to the low 90s by the end of next week in Kern County.

Air quality is expected to be moderate.
