Murfreesboro police investigate crash that injured at least four people

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities closed part of a roadway Tuesday night to investigate a crash that injured at least four people.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Murfreesboro Police Department

said

in a social media post that officers were investigating a crash on Veterans Parkway at Highway 99. Traffic had been diverted onto Old Salem Road.

Later Tuesday night, police

said

that Highway 99 had been closed in both directions as the Fatal Accident Crash Team started to investigate the crash. Four people were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries; their conditions are not known at this time.
