) — This week, we honor Jasmine Hobbs as the
WKRG News 5 Scholar Athlete of the Week
.
Hobbs is a senior at Murphy High School where she plays point guard on the basketball team.
She placed first for National History Day in the Senior Website Division.
Hobbs is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government Association and an IB Council representative.
She has a 4.9 GPA and is ranked 8th in her class.
