After months of rankings, rumors and multiple mock drafts it all ends here for the speculation around the 2025 class. Here is my final mock draft.
1. Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward, QB, Miami
It’s been written in ink for quite some time now, but Tennessee gets an exciting playmaker as the new face of their franchise in Ward.
2. Cleveland Browns
Travis Hunter, WR, Colorado
Hunter has emerged as my top choice in the draft, and now the focus shifts to how Cleveland intends to utilize him on both sides of the field.
3. New York Giants
Abdul Carter from EDGE at Penn State
The Giants could secure one of these three top-tier game-changers in the draft (with Hunter and Ashton Jeanty being the others). If needed, they have the opportunity to return for a quarterback at a later time.
4. New England Patriots
Will Campbell, OL, LSU
The Patriots opt for Campbell with their pick. He seems like a (highly competent) long-term option at NFL guard, though they could also try him out at left tackle given the investment made in this choice.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The initial ‘surprise’ selection of the draft. Similar to numerous franchises, the Jacksonville team might prefer skipping this choice but hopes to secure an exciting player nonetheless. Brian Thomas Jr. along with Tetairoo McMillan could form a formidable receiving pair.
6. Las Vegas Raiders
Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
Initially seen as a potential fit for Ashton Jeanty, the Raiders decide to focus on reinforcing their offensive line. They choose to have Membou step into the role of right tackle from the start. This move also marks the beginning of Kelvin Banks’ involvement.
7. New York Jets
Tyler Warren, Tight End from Penn State
The Jets have been linked with numerous potential picks on both offense and defense, but I continually find myself returning to Warren. He would seamlessly align with what offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand aims to implement in moving from Detroit to New York.
8. Carolina Panthers
Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Jalon Walker is frequently linked with the Panthers in these scenarios, but a shifting Mason Graham might alter those expectations.
9. New Orleans Saints
Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas
Following the addition of Taliese Fuaga in the previous year’s first round, the Saints aim to further strengthen their offensive line. In this situation, Banks has the versatility to fill roles at either tackle or guard for the team.
10. Chicago Bears
Ashton Jeanty, running back from Boise State
Jeanty is undoubtedly among the top players in this draft and can single-handedly disrupt any opposing defense. This enables Ben Johnson to establish a robust running game in Chicago, which eases the pressure on quarterback Caleb Williams.
11. San Francisco 49ers
Walter Nolen, DL, Mississippi
Robert Saleh has returned to San Francisco, but he requires additional skill on the defensive line for this unit to regain dominance. Nolen explodes through gaps with his agility off the snap and disrupts plays effectively.
12. Dallas Cowboys
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Cowboys have to get a legitimate threat at this position opposite CeeDee Lamb. Golden doesn’t play to his timed speed, but he’s a crisp route runner that finishes plays.
13. Miami Dolphins
Jahdae Barron, DB, Texas
Barron is the kind of adaptable cornerback who can excel in many positions within a depleted Miami secondary.
14. Indianapolis Colts
Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
If Walker has managed to make it this far, it’s tough to imagine Ballard wouldn’t be excited about bringing him onto this defense. Walker brings an aggressive style of play along with his impressive speed towards the ball.
15. Atlanta Falcons
Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
This choice aims to finally resolve the Falcons’ issues with pressure from the defensive line. Green poses significant challenges for tackles when isolated on him.
16. Arizona Cardinals
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Mykel Williams could potentially be selected higher, but he has been consistently linked with the Cardinals all month. Despite adding several veteran players to their defense this off-season, they’re placing their bets on his potential for growth over the long term, considering his age of only 20 years old.
17. Cincinnati Bengals
Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon
On day two of the draft, the Bengals have the opportunity to strengthen their inside offensive line. Here, they choose Harmon, adding significant depth at another position of need due to his highly disruptive impact within the defensive line.
18. Seattle Seahawks
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Similar to the Bengals, the Seahawks could also focus on strengthening their interior offensive line in later rounds of this draft. While some have suggested targeting a perimeter wide receiver with this selection, two such players were already taken earlier. Adding Loveland provides more size to Seattle’s roster of receivers and gives quarterback Sam Darnold a dependable option in the middle of the field.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Donovan Ezeiruaku from EDGE at Boston College
Ezeiruaku teams up with YaYa Diaby to provide Tampa Bay an essential boost in their pass rushing game. The uncertainty lies with Will Johnson potentially moving down, which could strengthen Todd Bowles’ secondary defense.
20. Denver Broncos
Emeka Egbuka, Wide Receiver from Ohio State
The Broncos could bolster their offense by selecting either wide receiver Egbuka or running back TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State. Egbuka’s versatility against various defenses and his tenacious blocking style seem well-suited for Sean Payton’s system.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers
Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
Clearly, this might be when the conversation about Shedeur Sanders begins to intensify. Should the Steelers feel assured in securing Aaron Rodgers’ signature, they would require an immediate contributor to aid their chances of winning right away. Now that Harmon has been taken, Grant is selected next to strengthen their defensive front.
22. Los Angeles Chargers
Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The board didn’t break too well for the Chargers here as I like Green, Loveland, Harmon and Egbuka for them. With that being said, Stewart’s size and athleticism will be a big boost to this front seven.
23. Green Bay Packers
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Johnson’s slide ends as the Packers land a corner with tremendous size and ball skills.
24. New York Giants (through trade with the Minnesota Vikings)
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Giants appear to be the top contender to make a move back into the first round for a quarterback. The real question remains: Who will they choose? WhileSanders’ anticipation has come to an end, selecting Jaxson Dart wouldn’t be unexpected either.
25. Houston Texans
Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
The Texans must improve their offensive line to better protect CJ Stroud this season. Currently, they are depending on several temporary solutions for those positions, which makes selecting Booker both a short and long-term priority.
26. Los Angeles Rams
Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Campbell is a better player than this draft slot, but there have been rumors of a mini slide due to medicals. That works out great for the Rams, who solve a need at linebacker and get value at the same time.
27. Baltimore Ravens
Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia
Starks reliability as a true free safety in coverage fixes a lot of the Ravens problems on the defensive side of the ball from last year.
28. Detroit Lions
Grey Zabel, Offensive Lineman, North Dakota State
Zabel is among the few players who can genuinely excel in all five positions on the offensive line, but this seems like an ideal opportunity for him to establish himself as a guard.
29. Washington Commanders
Omarion Hampton, Running Back, University of North Carolina
The Commanders keep piling on challenges for opposing defensive coordinators to tackle. Hampton brings an immense amount of physicality to his role in all facets of the game.
30. Buffalo Bills
Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
The comeback of Tre White to Buffalo strengthens their defensive backfield, yet they plan to utilize one of their high picks from the draft to further bolster this area.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Josh Conerly Jr., Offensive Tackle, Oregon
Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons is often projected for this position, though his draft stock could be affected significantly by medical evaluations. In contrast, Conerly does not have these concerns but offers comparable explosiveness as an athlete at the tackle role.
32. Philadelphia Eagles
James Pearce Jr., from EDGE, based in Tennessee
The Eagles will justifiably rely on talent given the structure they currently possess. Pearce brings the playing speed they value adding depth to their front seven.
