Raiders Could Go With Offensive Lineman At No. 6 Overall

Under the leadership of the new general manager, John Spytek, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports that compelling arguments are emerging within Vegas’ draft room to focus on reinforcing their offensive line using the sixth overall selection on Thursday evening. Reports suggest that the Raiders have shown interest in potentially trading up into the first five spots of this year’s NFL draft and are also considering moving down, contingent upon how things unfold at the beginning. Despite adding a seasoned veteran, Jeanty remains an ideal choice for the Raiders.

In free agency, they aimed for reinforcements in the backfield. But considering the abundance of talented running backs available this year, the Raiders might not feel compelled to select Jeanty early if they remain at their sixth overall pick.
