. (WTAP) -Different organizations were honored during the Wood County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday.
Different bands from around the county were honored and so were SkillsUSA winners. Ten of those students came back with medals. There was also a community service presentation by “Serenity Styles.” Stephen Tupitza was chosen as Teacher of the Year for Wood County. He was WTAP’s Jan Dils Golden Apple Award winner recently!
The Wood County BOE is buying from the Erickson Corporation land to be used for the baseball and softball fields in the amount of $135,000.
